Before joining Neo4j, Gal worked for over five years as a software engineer at eBay.com, leading eBay’s high scale ETL processes. In addition, for over four years Gal led a Product team in a high-tech start-up company in Israel, designing complex data recommendation systems for optimized user experiences.

Gal is a sports fanatic, from soccer to basketball, acrobatics to UFC, surfing to snowboarding. In addition to sports, Gal’s strongest passion is education. He has volunteered for many years in Israel’s educational system as a tutor for young students.
