apoc.meta.stats

This procedure is not considered safe to run from multiple threads. It is therefore not supported by the parallel runtime (introduced in Neo4j 5.13). For more information, see the Cypher Manual → Parallel runtime.

Details

Syntax

apoc.meta.stats() :: (labelCount, relTypeCount, propertyKeyCount, nodeCount, relCount, labels, relTypes, relTypesCount, stats)

Description

Returns the metadata stored in the transactional database statistics.

The total number of distinct node labels.

relTypeCount

INTEGER

The total number of distinct relationship types.

propertyKeyCount

INTEGER

The count of property keys.

nodeCount

INTEGER

The total number of nodes.

relCount

INTEGER

The total number of relationships.

labels

MAP

A map of labels to their count.

relTypes

MAP

A map of relationship types per start or end node label.

relTypesCount

MAP

A map of relationship types to their count.

stats

MAP

A map containing all the given return fields from this procedure.

Note that the relTypesCount field returns a count equal to MATCH ()-[r:RELATIONSHIP_TYPE]→() RETURN count(r) for each relationship type (unique relationships versus unique patterns).
