Enterprises face myriad challenges when it comes to developing and deploying GenAI solutions. The development of new models, algorithms, fine-tuning techniques, detecting and resolving bias, and how we deploy large solutions at scale continues to evolve at a rapid pace. There is a lack of standardized software tools and technologies to choose from. This talk introduces Open Platform for Enterprise AI (OPEA) and showcases a RAG pipeline that uses GraphRAG.

Rachel Roumeliotis, Director, Open Source Strategy, Intel is led by the belief that open source is key to growth and innovation, Rachel is focused on partnering with fellow Intel colleagues to incorporate these tenets into its larger business strategy. She is also working with other companies, foundations, and voices in the open-source community to ensure a strong and sustainable open source ecosystem. Most recently she was Vice President, Content Strategy at O'Reilly Media.

Arun Gupta is vice president and general manager of Open Ecosystem Initiatives at Intel Corporation. He is an open source strategist, advocate, and practitioner for over two decades. He has taken companies such as Apple, Amazon, and Sun Microsystems through systemic changes to embrace open source principles, contribute and collaborate effectively. As an elected chair of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Governing Board, Arun works with CNCF leadership and member companies to grow cloud native ecosystem. He also participates in the Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF) and Linux Foundation Governing Boards. He has delivered technical talks in 45+ countries, authored multiple books, and is a Docker Captain, Java Champion, and Java User Group leader. He also founded the Devoxx4Kids chapter in the U.S. and continues to promote technology education among children.
