Session description
This talk is an update to a previous presentation from three years ago about a graph of genetic relationships in terms of the science found and the extensions made. It is an introduction to using graph databases, specifically Neo4j, for modeling genetics and an explanation of why they are useful. We will look at the usage of the graph and discoveries made as well as technically how it was extended to cover epigenetic markers available on public research websites.
