Session Track: Data Science
Session Time:
Session description
In this session, Rimsha Imran and I will dive into the topic of graph data modeling. Often, when we import data, we lose semantics i.e., relationships. Even when they are created, we are unable to use them due to a wrong data import query or wrong data model. In this talk, we will take an example from an anti-money laundering dataset we created synthetically for research and development and discuss when things could go wrong in your data import journey and what steps to take to avoid such issues. I will present the overview and best practices, and Rimsha will be assisting me and the audience with a hands-on example.
Data Scientist and AI Researcher
I'm Siraj Munir. I have been using graph technologies for the last 6 years to solve real-world problems semantically and graphically. Currently, I'm doing PhD from the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Italy. I'm super excited to be here and to see you on board.
Software Developer
Hey! I'm Rimsha, a software developer with a passion for unraveling the mysteries hidden within data. Currently, I'm diving deep into the world of Data Science through my Master's program, where I'm combining my programming prowess with a hunger for insights. Beyond the textbooks and coding challenges, you'll find me immersed in research projects and attending workshops, soaking up every bit of knowledge to fuel my quest for mastery in data science. I believe that technology, when wielded with purpose and passion, has the power to transform lives and shape a better future. And I'm determined to be at the forefront of that transformation, leveraging my skills and insights to make a meaningful impact.
