Neo4j Achieves AWS Competency Partner Status in 4 Software Categories
Competencies & participation in 3 new AWS initiatives accelerate graph solutions on AWS for more powerful predictions & insights
SAN MATEO, CALIF. – Dec 4, 2024 – Neo4j®, one of the world’s leading graph database and analytics companies, announced today that it achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Competency Partner status in four categories this year: AWS Generative Artificial Intelligence (generative AI), AWS Machine Learning (ML), AWS Financial Services, and AWS Automotive. Competency status is based on proven technical expertise, customer success, and a high commitment to excellence within specific solution areas in the AWS ecosystem. The result enables customers to integrate graph data models quickly and seamlessly into workflows within AWS for faster deployment and more powerful predictions and insights.
"By 2025, graph technologies will be used in 80% of data and analytics innovations, up from 10% in 2021, facilitating rapid decision-making across the enterprise,” predicts Gartner® in its Exploring the Top Use Cases for Graph Analytics report, May 10, 2024.
Neo4j achieved AWS Competency Partner Status in Data and Analytics in 2023, following its multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) signing the same year focused on enabling enterprises to achieve better generative AI outcomes through a unique combination of knowledge graphs and native vector search that reduces generative AI hallucinations while making results more accurate, transparent, and explainable.
Neo4j customers include Adobe, AstraZeneca, Caterpillar, Levi-Strauss, Novo Nordisk, TAG IMF, and many others.
Competency benefits for customers
The AWS Competency Program assists customers in connecting with AWS Partners who possess extensive knowledge and technical expertise in using AWS technologies and best practices. Competency Partners facilitate the seamless integration and deployment of AWS-based solutions to meet the unique needs of both startups and global enterprises.
-
AWS Financial Services Competency. This designation recognizes Neo4j for providing deep expertise that helps organizations manage critical issues pertaining to the industry, such as risk management, core systems implementations, data management, navigating compliance requirements, and establishing governance models. Neo4j’s graph technology connects diverse data points, such as transactions and behavioral patterns, and uncovers hidden relationships and suspicious activities in real time. Neo4j’s AWS-supported reference architecture for fraud ring detection provides a clear blueprint for implementing and scaling Neo4j within AWS environments while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance. To receive this designation, AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and undergo an assessment of the security, performance, and reliability of their solutions.
-
AWS Automotive Competency. Autonomous vehicles, electric cars, and connected systems are rapidly transforming the automotive industry. Neo4j enables automotive manufacturers to manage and optimize the value of complex relationships between parts, sensors, and systems for insights on behalf of better supply chain efficiency, faster innovation cycles, production line improvements, and improved vehicle safety. Achieving the AWS Automotive Competency differentiates Neo4j as an APN member with demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success in running cloud solutions on AWS for the automotive industry. To achieve the AWS Automotive Competency designation, AWS Partners must undergo rigorous technical validation and provide vetted customer references.
-
AWS Generative AI Competency. The AWS Generative AI Competency recognizes Neo4j as an AWS Partner that helps customers, and the AWS Partner Network, drive the advancement of services, tools, and infrastructure pivotal for implementing generative AI technologies. As organizations increasingly adopt generative AI, Neo4j provides the essential graph infrastructure to manage the vast, interconnected datasets these applications require for accurate, transparent, and explainable generative AI results. Central to this effort is GraphRAG, a technique that combines knowledge graphs (KGs) and retrieval augmented generation for more accurate and performant generative AI outcomes. An AWS-approved Neo4j reference architecture guides customers in understanding and implementing graph solutions for generative AI use cases, providing step-by-step guidance on how to leverage graph data for AI-driven content generation, automation, and customer service.
According to Gartner®, "RAG techniques in an enterprise context suffer from problems related to the veracity and completeness of responses caused by limitations in the accuracy of retrieval, contextual understanding, and response coherence. KGs, a well-established technology, can represent data held within documents and the metadata relating to the documents. Combining both aspects allows RAG applications to retrieve text based on the similarity to the question and contextual representation of the query and corpus, improving response accuracy.”
-
AWS Machine Learning Competency. Integrating graph technology with AWS’ ML capabilities empowers customers to build highly accurate models that detect complex patterns and relationships in ways that dramatically enhance decision-making across industries. The result enables smarter AI-driven outcomes that improve operational efficiency and more performant ML use cases for predictive analytics, customer segmentation, dynamic pricing, recommendation systems, churn prediction, predictive maintenance, and many more. Achieving the AWS ML Competency differentiates Neo4j as an AWS Partner Network member that has built solutions that help organizations solve their data challenges, enable ML and data science workflows, or offer SaaS/API-based capabilities that enhance end applications with machine intelligence. Attaining the AWS ML Competency demonstrates that Neo4j has validated expertise and ML experience on AWS.
-
AWS Data & Analytics Competency. Achieved by Neo4j in 2023, this designation assures customers that Neo4j’s graph database technology meets AWS’s high standards for advanced analytics, from real-time insights to predictive modeling. Customers can seamlessly integrate, analyze, and visualize interconnected data for better decision-making and data-driven outcomes – whether enhancing customer insights, optimizing operations, or uncovering fraud.
Three new initiatives strengthen cloud integration
In addition to its Competencies, Neo4j will focus on three new initiatives to streamline Neo4j adoption for AWS customers:
-
Customers can now easily discover, purchase, and scale Neo4j solutions through AWS Marketplace, benefiting from a streamlined, self-service procurement experience with flexible, consumption-based pricing.
-
Customers can now purchase Neo4j solutions directly from Neo4j’s website with their existing AWS credits and procurement systems using Buy with AWS, streamlining the purchasing journey and reducing friction. This integration offers flexibility for organizations looking to acquire graph database solutions through familiar AWS-powered processes while enjoying the convenience of buying directly from the Neo4j website.
-
Customers can access VPC Resources through AWS PrivateLink and VPC Lattice. This new feature enables customers to import data from their virtual private clouds (VPCs) in AWS into Neo4j’s cloud database AuraDB and build graph applications quickly and easily. The feature provides high standards of security and compliance, particularly those of heavily regulated industries such as finance and healthcare.
