The session will discuss converting building design models, also known as Building Information Models (BIM), to the Neo4j graph database to perform advanced analysis of complex relationships and building element attributes to solve complex problems like building topology analysis and indoor navigation as well as perform advanced filtering and information extraction.
The session will give a brief overview of the problem statement and the ETL workflow to convert BIM models into a Neo4j DB and demonstrate the result through a Neo4j web browser and 3D viewer for BIM models.
